Booking Appointments

Treatment bookings can be made by phone, online or pop in to see us in person. We strongly

recommend booking well in advance to avoid disappointment.  If you are unsure of the best

treatment for you, our highly skilled therapists will be delighted to advise you

 

Your First Visit

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your first treatment to complete your confidential

medical questionnaire so that this does not affect your treatment time. We ask that you spend

a few moments completing this form with as much detail as possible so that we can ensure you

get the very best treatment to suit your requirements.

 

Late Arrivals

We will do our utmost to ensure you receive your full treatment time, however it may in some

cases be necessary to shorten your treatment time to minimise the inconvenience to other clients.

Cancellation Policy
Your time of appointment and treatment have been reserved especially for you at your request. 

If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please give at least 24 hours’ notice prior to

the appointment.  Unfortunately, if we do not receive 24 hours’ notice a 50% cancellation charge

may be incurred for any treatment/treatments not cancelled.  Missed appointments will be

charged at full price.

Payment Details

All new clients are respectfully required to pay a 50% deposit to secure your first appointment.

 

Gift Vouchers

Designer Nails & Beauty Gift Vouchers can be purchased in the salon or over the phone and are

valid for six months from the date of purchase.  Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be

exchanged for cash or products and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

Contra-indications/Special Requirements

Some treatments have contra-indications applied to them and all skin treatments carried out are

subject to the completion of our consultation card. If you have any health issues that you are

concerned about, please seek advice from your doctor prior to booking your treatment.  There are

various health issues that we need to take into account for example heart condition, epilepsy,

cancer, diabetes, arthritis or if you are pregnant, please inform us on booking your appointment. 

 

Pregnancy

Please tell us about your pregnancy on booking.  In doing this, we can help you make the right

choices with regards to treatments that may or may not be suitable to you and your baby.  Some

treatments are not suitable during the stages of pregnancy, some are safe mid-term from 13-28 weeks

and others are great at any time.  If you discover you are pregnant after having made a booking,

please inform us at your earliest convenience.  On arrival, please remind your therapist that you

are pregnant.

Recommend a Friend

Recommend your friends and family to Designer Nails & Beauty and they will receive 10% off their

first nail or beauty treatment!  To say thank you, you will also receive 10% off your next treatment

for every new client you introduce to us!

 

Parental Consent

We require parental consent for under 16’s.  Please note we will not apply nail extensions to those

under 16 years of age.

Medications or Procedures

Some medications or procedures can cause sensitivity to the skin and therefore may prevent

planned treatments from being carried out. We will always try our best to find an alternative

treatment when possible but if you feel that your medication or procedure may restrict your

treatment, please call us prior to your treatment and we will be happy to advise you further.

 

Wheelchair Access

The salon has wheelchair access. Please let us know if you need to use this access prior to your visit.

Loss or Damage to Personal Property

Designer Nails & Beauty cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage to your personal belongings.
